Products
Our calcined petroleum coke is used as a high-quality carbon source with a high carbon content, low volatile content, good heat resistance and drum resistance, primarily in the steel and foundry industries, as well as by manufacturers of mineral wool and in the chemical industry. Our petroleum coke is produced in grain sizes of 0–6 mm, 6-30 mm, 30–80 mm and 80–250 mm, for example, and can also be supplied in other grain sizes upon customer request.
Our foundry coke substitute offers an economical and efficient alternative to traditional coke. Defined grain sizes, high strength and a high carbon content ensure consistent metal quality. Ideal for modern foundries that want to combine efficiency and security of supply. Our standard grain sizes are 80/90–250 mm, 60/80–120/150 mm or 150–350 mm. However, other grain sizes can also be produced on customer request.
CarboCom's recarburisers enable precise adjustment of the carbon content in iron and steel production. The portfolio includes grain sizes of 1–3 mm, 1–4 mm, 1–5 mm, 1–10 mm, 3–10 mm and 4–10 mm, or according to customer requirements. Depending on the process requirements, the product is filled into paper sacks or big bags and shrink-wrapped on disposable pallets.
Our injection coal is specifically used for metallurgical processes in which reactivity, gas development and thermal behaviour are crucial. We supply injection coal in grain sizes of 0–1 mm and 0–2 mm, loose in silos.
